The lady that changed my world is going to be on Oprah!! Stephenie Meyer has been doing what she calls "the hermit thing" for the past year with the media and has decided to do it big with a visit to Oprah's esteemed couch.
I will admit that I am more of an "Ellen" type than an "Oprah" type, but I am so interested to see what she has to say.
Do you think she really loves Twilight? If I had written a book and then saw it on the big screen nothing could live up to my expectations. I had way less invested in Twilight and I was disappointed. The dream that started it all was the Meadow scene and I think that was just wreaked. Not to mention the whole Spider Monkey tree thing. I swear they could have used that 10 minutes more wisely that they did. Oh my, let's not start, Rachel!!
I have high hopes for New Moon and I can't wait to hear her opinion.
Check out her letter on her website www.stepheniemeyer.com and tune in to Oprah Friday November 13th.
What scene did you think was the best from Twilight? Which was the worst?

Show some grace. For all you youngin' please realize that there are those of us who aren't a spry as we use to be. So pleasey cheesey, show some grace and keep the screaming, screeching and other nonsense down. HOWEVER, for all you older Twilighters (like myself *winks*) show some grace! Don't fool yourself, if you had the energy you'd be going atomic fan girl yourself. Take a flask with you, easy back and relax.

Look what I got!!!
When I was 11 years old I went snooping in my parents bedroom closet and found, covered up by a blanket, a Barbie Dream House. I was so excited. It was my dream present and I couldn't wait for Christmas morning when "Santa" would bring me my house. Christmas morning came and under our beautiful tree was a Barbie Ferrari. I am still scarred by this. I think I actually cried. My parents told me I shouldn't have snooped. 20 years later I am still bitching about this. Mom and Dad- maybe this is why I was such a rotten teenager?
Today I made some excuse to go into Toys-R-Us. New Moon Store? Let's just say the one rack of New Moon merchandise does not a "store" make. Anyways- I happen to look and what do I see????
EDWARD AND BELLA BARBIES!!!!!!!!
When I saw them I was actually on the phone with my dad. I was so excited I almost wet my pants. Then my dad says " Do you want them for Christmas?"
"Yes, Daddy. Please Please Please Will you buy them? I want them!!! Will you buy them for me?? Please Please Please!!!!!"
Let me tell you, a 32 year old jumping up and down and begging their Dad for a toy in the middle of Toys-R-Us is not pretty.
But guess what-- I walked out of that store the proud owner of Edward and Bella Barbies.
When I thanked him he mentioned that I better be good or he would take them back! I am
totally going to have to do dirty things with them so they can't be returned!!! Muah Ha Ha!!!
Now I just need to find my Ferrari.
By the way- Edward is covered in glitter. I am not kidding. His ass sparkles!!!!!!!!
I love Edward... and my Daddy!

Youtube implication
I caught my husband searching Youtube for- " Naked Robert Pattinson". WTF? The initials do not adequately express my disbelief. What The Fuck!!!!????
Does he have a secret I do not know about? Do we have more in common than I realized? Was he intrigued by this picture:
I was laying next to him totally dumbstruck. I kept peeking at the screen trying to catch a glimpse of naked Rob, but trying to be discreet. My hubby clicked on this:
I leaned over and embarrassed myself by saying-"Oh, I have seen that. It doesn't show anything good."
He gave me a look of surprise and called me a pervert. "I knew you searched for naked pictures of Edward!"
I was caught and had no defense. I sheepishly scooted away not sure what to say. What could I say? I am guilty.
Next Youtube video he watched was this:(my recommendation)
Way to change the subject don't ya think!!!

Not about Twilight
This post is not about Twilight. I know I am wasting your time here, but I had to write a liitle post about me. I had such a feeling of pride today. I am usually proud of myself. I am proud when I look at my kids. I am proud of my hard working husband. I am proud of myself when I clean the toilet. But today I walked out of the elementary school feeling lighthearted, my face turned toward the sun and I had this flush of pride because I had voted. Sure it was not a presidential election, it was, maybe more importantly, a govenor's race. And I took time out of my date to make my voice heard in that small press of a button.
Today is an important day. Go make yourself be heard in a quiet powerful way. Never take for granted the choices you have by being an American citizen.
I bet Edward votes!!!!
