More Breaking Dawn confirmations

Bella and Renesmee . I have used this before, but I love it!!!!

There seems to be more and more confirmation that Breaking Dawn will become a movie. Producer Wyck Godfrey has mentioned it. Rob Pattinson mentioned it while in Cannes. Now BooBoo Stewart tells Access Hollywood that he has signed on for 3 Twilight movies. That can only mean to me that Breaking Dawn will be broken into 2 movies!!!!! Even better! In my opinion there is no way to fit all the drama of Breaking Dawn into a 2 hour movie. I am sure that Summit is waiting for the New Moon numbers to come in before it commits to Breaking Dawn. Remember opening weekend numbers are what they look at!! As if any of us could wait past the opening weekend to see New Moon.
I swear my life gets better and better every day!!

Check out the interview. Also check out the picture. He definitely will make a good Seth.

Jane

I loved the movie I Am Sam. I am a Sean Penn fan and have been for a long time. This movie was the first time I remember seeing Dakota Fanning. She was so cute and such a good actress. That role was a very emotional role and she performed it perfectly.

When I discovered that Dakota was going to be Jane, I was delighted. I thought she was a perfect choice and just how I pictured Jane when I read the books, young, innocent and beautiful looking, but dangerous. The small look you get in the New Moon trailer shows just how perfect she is for this role.
I was sent a link to this great article written by Lizerne Guiting, Fandango Film Commentator. The article is fabulously written and has spoilers about the movie. Beware if you do not want to read spoilers. I chose one section from the article that is of great interest to me. I had read that Edward was going to get tortured by Jane and it would be very physical. In the book, Jane does not lay a finger on Edward and I was worried that the director would change that and have Jane touch Edward, essentially changing her power. This set report relieves my concern:
Jane and Edward's Torturous Scenes

One little vampire who plays a huge role in the new film is Jane, played by Dakota Fanning. As the more prominent witch twin, she's known for her an angelic look that clashes with her sadistic persona. In the scenes we view, she's using her special gift—inflicting pain on her victims without lifting a finger—on Edward. Edward's scene was altogether filmed separately since he was on wires, but let's include what we saw from that scene, too, for continuity.
Robert Pattinson is cloaked in a hooded crimson, velvet, Volturi robe and his bare chest is partly exposed. As Aro gives Jane the green light to try her power on Bella, Edward runs in front of her and he receives the full fury of Jane's infliction. Pattinson stops in his tracks, arches his head back and expresses a look of excruciating pain. He lets out a grunt, the wires pull him back, and then drop him on his back. A camera that's zoomed in on Jane's face shows her red eyes widen and follow him to the spot on the ground where he falls. She hardly blinks. As Bella begs her to stop, Jane keeps staring, and her lips curve into a faint, smug smile.
I have been pleasantly surprised by the reports so far. It sounds like scenes are going to be kept close to the book. I have said it before---I AM SO EXCITED!!!!!!!

Alice

To elaborate a bit more on the difference in the looks of the characters from Twilight to New Moon, I found these pictures on Twilight Examiner. I had planned on writing a similar article, but it was done so well that what I was writing will be pointless. I did want to post the pictures and this link.

Fat Vampires in Twilight World?

Before anyone thinks I am half-cracked and calls the psych ward to have me admitted, I will say that I know vampires are not real. Okay? This is a hypothetical inquiry. It is written in Twilight that when you become a vampire you become beautiful. If you were a beautiful human, you will be a magnificent looking, incomparable vampire. (i.e. Rosalie) If you are a plain looking human, you will merely be a beautiful vampire.(i.e. James) The question that I have is:
What if you are a fat human, will you miraculously become a thin, gorgeous, supermodel-like vampire?
This question was asked by me to my trusty sisters-in-law, B2 and MrsMe. They both said yes, but I am not too sure. Take Siobhan, of the Irish Coven. This is how she is described:
“a woman of immense presence whose huge body was both beautiful and mesmerizing as it moved in smooth undulations” Breaking Dawn Chapter 32
What does immense or huge body mean? Does it mean fat? I have an immense rear end and a huge --well- if you know me - you know. I have been forbidden from mentioning that dual part of my anatomy by RZ. When I make certain quick movements, they may be described as undulations. Mine may not be considered beautiful, mesmerizing, or smooth though
.
Or is she just a large, lumberjack type of woman? I really want to know the answer to my question.
If it is a yes, there are fat vampires, I say bite me because diets suck and I just ate 3 powdered mini-donuts, maybe 4, maybe more. I lost count.

Here is an update on the new faces we will see in Eclipse. I am especially excited about Seth and Leah. I will say that I expected a taller more gangly Seth, but he is only 15 in the book, so we will see. I am so excited about the additions of the characters of Royce King II and Maria. I love the characters backstories.

Julia Jones as Leah Clearwater

BooBoo Stewart as Seth Clearwater

Bryce Dallas Howard as Victoria

Catalina Sandino Moreno as Maria (Oscar nominated Actress)

Jack Huston as Royce King II (Grandson of John Huston, Nephew of Angelica Huston)

I have linked the actors to their IMDb accounts and the characters to the Fabulous Twilight Lexicon.

Which Director got it right?

As for me, I will know for sure on Nov. 20th!!!!

My Friday

Sometime after my 30th birthday I decided that I did not care what people thought of me. I have really always been confident in myself, but in the past two years I became even more confident in liking what I like and not worrying about anyone else. My love of Twilight is a perfect example of this. I would and have screamed it from the rooftops. I become a walking advertisement for Twilight with Edward stretched across my ample bosom. I try to turn everyone on to it and am a proud momma when someone falls in love with the books. I wonder WTF is wrong with someone who won't read it or someone who doesn't like it--GASP!!
But this Friday I embarrassed myself. My cheeks are still red at the thought of what I did, all in the name of Twilight.

I had had one of those weeks with the kids being sick and suffering from cabin fever. The thrill of summer had finally worn off, for all of us. Everyone was grumpy and I needed to get out. I asked RZ to man the fort while I took MrsMe, who was in the same funk, out to see a movie. He graciously accepted, all the while knowing if he didn't, barely held together Mommy would become homicidal Mommy. I had rolled out of bed that morning and grabbed a comfortable outfit of my New Moon t-shirt and some weird, not shorts, but not capri sweatpants. MrsMe said she was wearing her new Twilight t-shirt, which came as a shock. She only wears her Twilight t-shirts to inappropriate functions (i.e. her daughter's baptism) ** I told her I would wear mine if she would wear her's. She agreed.
When deciding what movie to see it was agreed upon that we would go and see The Time Traveler's Wife. She nixed Bandslam. I had it all worked out that we could go see the trailer in front of Bandslam at 9:55 and only miss the previews of our movie, as it started at 10. When we got there I found that I had the times mixed up. I was a bit pouty, but being the adult I am I figured it was better to not miss the beginning of the movie. Which, by the way, was very good. I have not read the book.
After the movie was over I mentioned that Bandslam was playing at 12:20 and if we waited around we could go see the trailer. Security was present because of the high volume of Friday night traffic and I was a bit worried about getting kicked out and being banned for life from the theatre. I will have need of admittance in the near future (11/20-11/25) MrsMe giggled at me and I swear thought I was crazy, but agreed that we should get permission. Every single employee had to be about 16 and I was wearing my New Moon shirt. I tried to hide it a bit with my giant red purse, that I used to sneak in water and candy, but it was pointless. I asked a girl taking tickets if it was ok or if I should ask a manager. She looked at me like she was a bit scared, but said to go ahead. We, OK I, giddily headed for the theatre. We sat there for 5 minutes and the lights came on in the theatre and the projector was turned off. I realized that there were probably no tickets sold and the midnight showing was not going to happen. After some consideration, MrsMe asked the same girl if we needed to buy a ticket for it to be shown. She said maybe, looking again like we were going to kill her or something. I ran outside and bought a ticket for Bandslam. The girl there looked even more weirded out and I realized then what I looked like, a pathetic, lonely, middle aged women wearing a New Moon t-shirt, clutching a giant red purse, wearing flipflops with cut off sweat things, watching Bandslam at midnight. I am so embarrassed. Someone definitely had a laugh over me.
MrsMe and I ran back to the theatre only to realize we had the wrong theatre the 1st time. AHHHHHHH!!! I had embarrassed myself for no reason!!! We made it just in time and saw the trailer on the big screen!!!! It was mostly worth it. I tried to jump up and down and hug MrsMe with pure joy at seeing the trailer, but that was were she drew the line. Go figure.
I still can't wait for the release of New Moon. I will continue to be a freak about my Twilight love and will probably embarrass myself again soon. Just so you know, even though I asked if I could see the movie so I didn't get in trouble. I was not that worried about breaking the rules. I video-taped the trailer. I did not put it on Youtube, that is beyond me, but I have it for my enjoyment. I tried to show RZ. He basically told me to F**K OFF. He doesn't know what he is missing. I won't make him go with me on opening night, but my girls don't get off that easily. B2, MrsMe, and SIL # 3 are going whether they like it or not. Don't even think of backing out. I will need someone there to keep me from smacking the 13 year olds. And we are all wearing our shirts. I may even go and buy us matching ones.
