The Big One got me good.

Because this is about My Life, I have to relay something cute The Big One said to me tonight. He is 6 and I mentioned that we were going to the zoo tomorrow. He asked about bats. I told him that we could go to the bat cave. I then told him that we would maybe even see vampire bats, in my best spooky voice and then said I was so excited to go. He rolled his eyes at me and put his hand on my arm and said in his best grown up voice. "Mom, vampires are not real and neither is Twilight. Edward is not going to be at the zoo waiting for you." I laughed so hard at how he has me pegged.

I knew I should have bought the mini-Edward doll at Hot Topic today. Then Edward could have come to the zoo with me.

Question Thursday

I decided to choose a day to possibly answer some of the questions my posse and I have about the Twilight Saga. While chatting on the phone or over glasses of wine, we have pondered many issues not clarified in the books. Maybe these questions are yours, too. Thursdays will officially be our question days. If you have an questions you would like to discuss please email it to me at TwiObsessor@aol.com or leave me a comment. Please know that I have no contact with Stephenie Meyer and gain my information from different sources who claim they have gotten the answers from her. I will link where I have found answers to the question to the best of my ability.

Here we go:

Question #1-

On the New Moon trailer and in the book, Laurent mentions that Bella is "mouthwatering."

Do vampire's mouths water? And if they do is it with venom?

Answer- Yes and it is venom (PC5)

Question #2-

When Edward and Bella kiss does the venom pose a threat to her?

Answer- (taken off of Twilight Lexicon's page of personal correspondence with Stephenie Meyer)

(PC5) I’ve had a few people wondering why Edward always pulls away from Bella when she opens her mouth while he’s kissing her (thinking I have some sort of anti-female-affectionate-aggression agenda or something, I guess). But, of course, he’s just worried about her safety. Yes, the venom does pose a danger to her. It’s not like acid–it has to be in the bloodstream to cause any problems, it won’t hurt her skin. However, say she had a sore in her mouth, or that she’d bitten her tongue…. Even if that wasn’t the case, Edward’s teeth are sharp as razors. She could cut her lips or tongue on them easily, and then the conversion process would begin–very painfully and very slowly (because it would be such a small infusion of the venom). Sadly, true snogging is out.

Update

Official confirmation for the filming of Eclipse came from Summit today!!! Yeah!! Now can we get confirmation for Breaking Dawn? Please...

I am sure that no decision will be made until the big bucks roll in the opening weekend of New Moon. Money is the big decision maker. I can hope for earlier news though. Right?

Make sure you see New Moon the opening weekend. That first weekend's numbers determines success in the movie world. I will be there.

More than once, probably more than twice. I may just live at the theatre for a couple of days.

Eclipse film dates!!

Houston! We have confirmation!! Ok, Ok, so it's not an official confirmation from Summit, but Twilight Lexicon is quoting a source stating that Eclipse will begin filming August 17th in Vancouver and wrap on October 30th. I cannot wait. The sooner they begin filming the sooner we can see the movies. With a wrap date roughly 20 days before the premiere of New Moon, those actors are going to have a very busy 3 months.

*rubbing my hands together in an evil manner* *followed by an evil laugh* I can't wait for all the juicy pictures and gossip!!!

B2, should we plan a set stalking expedition?

I also love Cedric

MrsMe convinced me to watch the Harry Potter movies. I have never read the books and refuse to do so now because I am disgusted at any book that is not Twilight. I love to read and I am suffering greatly for this. I decided to take MrsMe's sage advise and I watched the movies. If I am being completely honest, I will admit that the real reason I watched them was because My Rob has a role in the 4th movie, as Cedric Diggory. I thoroughly enjoyed the movies!! Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire was my favorite, but not only because of Cedric/Rob. He only enhanced a very good movie.
At this very moment, I shocked myself by having the thought that I would go upstairs and put in The Goblet of Fire DVD while I clean. That is scary! Twilight has been my background noise of choice since March. Fear not, I am not changing into a rabid Harry Potter fan. I will not switch my loyalties to Rob for Daniel Radcliife. I watched Twilight last night before I fell asleep and already Googled Rob this morning. All is right in my Twilight world

Too Tired. Too Uncreative.

I have no creative energy today... I stayed up until 3:30 a.m. reading Twilight Fan Fiction. Oh, the stories I have found. *long drawn out sigh* Some of the stories are so bad, some are downright pornography, and then some are so heartwrenchingly good. Check out the newest review of Twilight Fan Fiction on Peace. Love. Twilight. (link on my sidebar). It was so enjoyable.

The other reason I am uncreative today is the fact that 2 other blogs had similar posts about whether or not Rob's movies would be as popular without him. I have a list beside my bed with topics to write about if there is no Twi-news and that was one of the topics I had written a couple of days ago. I would like to think that great minds think alike and the lack of Twilight gossip has forced us to become more creative. I would not like to think that my readers may wonder if I recycle material from other blogs. I do not.

I will go to bed at a decent time tonight and have some wonderful Twilight or Rob yummies to report tomorrow.

Thanks for reading my half pissy post today.

Does Rob make the movie?

To feed my obsession I often Google Robert Pattinson. There has been little Twilight news lately and so, I have transferred my entire obsession to looking at pictures of Rob filming the movie Remember Me. I have never before looked at pictures or followed the actual filming of a movie before New Moon, but here I am stalking the making of a 2nd movie. I know that as soon as they begin filming Eclipse, I will be right here at my computer checking Google each day. These thoughts bring me to a question. Would Remember Me even be on the radar if not for Robert Pattinson? I can say with all honesty that I would not give a flying hoot about it. I probably wouldn't even rent it from Redbox. It does make me realize why actors get paid so much though. Just having Rob's name attached to something has made it popular. Before Twilight, Rob filmed a movie in Spain called, Little Ashes. It is a movie about Salvador Dali and his relationship with Federico Garcia Lorca. I have not seen the movie, so I cannot say exactly what it is about. I have read that it portrays a time in Dali's life when he was finding himself and exploring his sexuality. Again I ask, would this movie even have gained distribution without Robert Pattinson being attached to it? I say no. I hope that Robert uses this to his advantage and chooses his projects well and I hope that he can sustain the popularity that he has now.
I will most likely go see Remember Me in the theatres, I will probably rent Little Ashes if it becomes available and I have already rented How to Be from pay-per-view. I guess that answers my own question. The movie itself can suck, but as long as it stars Rob, it will be seen. At least by me.

Team Who?

Today the family and I spent the day at a nearby amusement park. It was fabulous! I wore my "Runs with Vampires" t-shirt, 1- because I like it, 2- to irritate RZ, and 3- to see if anyone mentions it. An interesting t-shirt is always a good conversation starter. My fashion choice this morning turned out to be a good one, 1- I was comfortable, 2- RZ was slightly disgusted "Are you seriously wearing that?", and 3- I had an enlightening conversation with 2 random women. That conversation is blog-worthy.
While helping my kids onto Touche' Turtle's Clipper, a mother roughly my age, said to her daughter,"Look she's wearing a Twilight t-shirt (the kid was about 3. I am sure she cared). I smiled and replied that I LOVE Twilight. She answered that her daughter loves it too (WTF?? Just admit your love, Lady. Jeez!) The ride operator, a bit younger than me, comments that she used to be Team Jacob, but now she is Team Eddie!!! Can I get another huge WTF!!!!!???? Seriously, I have never heard Edward described as Eddie and it took all my strength not to rip her freakin' head off. Team Eddie? (I am shaking my head in disgust.) Then to top it off the aforementioned "too cool to admit her Twi-love" lady chimes in that she is Team Sweden. WTF!!!!!!!! I have heard of Team Switzerland, but Team Sweden. Who the hell is she rooting for? She went on to explain that she prefers to wait until Twilight 2 comes out to decide who's team she is on. Ok, so now I am ready to swallow the tongue I have pierced to keep quiet and I could feel my cheeks getting hot. I have never thought of it as Twilight 2. It's always been New Moon to me. She obviously hasn't read the books and I almost said as much. Ride Girl saved me from embarrassing myself by asking the other lady if she had read the books. Of course she hadn't. The, too cool-dumbass, lady reciprocated and I swear to Twilight, the ride girl answered, and I quote "I read the first 2, but I don't like elliptics? It is too long." WTF!!!!!!! I assumed she meant Eclipse. Thank God that the ride ended because I was having heart palpitations.
I have concluded that I am not just a Twilight Obsessor, I am also a Twilight snob. I am still horrified at that conversation.(I am shuddering as I think of it.) So, here it is my Twilight wisdom of the day-
Don't f**k up my perfectly wonderful day with a conversation about Twilight if you don't f**cking know what you are talking about!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
