Research. Seriously.
Tonight The Big One decided to watch Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. It is his favorite. I have watched it 4 times in the last week. I tolerate the repetition only because of Rob. (I do like the movie) He is so young and so cute in the film. My son is my hero lately. To cap off my long day I decided that Twilight was just the vice I needed to help me fall off into pleasant dreams. I also wanted to watch the movie for research purposes. I know, I know, I am grasping at straws to justify this being the 1000th time I have seen this film, but this is a true reason.
I finished reading Eclipse (again) and was trying to pick out what parts of the book must be included in the movie. When I began compiling my list, the title was top 10 Eclipse moments that must be in the film. I have not posted that because the list, as of right now, is at 42. I have a new respect for Melissa Rosenburg (screenwriter).
I will prevail and bring you my list of must-haves for the film. I may also post a list of scenes that I know will not make it into the movie, but should be there.
I will say this, it was mentioned in an article about the crappy makeup work in Twilight and now, every time I watch it I can't help but stare at Edward's neck and pink ears. Watch the scene in the hospital. It is so bad. I must lobby for better cosmetics in the next movies. Are you with me?

What comes after the movies are made?
It is inevitable that the talk about Twilight would extend beyond Breaking Dawn. Summit Entertainment has made so much money on the first movie alone to not think about continuing the story after the fourth movie. Which, by the way, still has not been confirmed.
Wyck Godfrey, Greg Mooradian and Guy Oseary producers of Twilight were recognized with the "Film of Vision Award." While at the awards, they were questioned by RadarOnline about what happens next? Where does Twilight go after all four are done? What about a Volturi family spin-off? Mooradian smiled and simply said, “all possibilities are out there.” It will depend on the continued success in theaters and “where the audience demands it goes from there.”
I, for one, sincerely hope that Stephenie Meyer will write more books featuring the Twilight characters. I have some interest in the Volturi family and would love to read about their downfall. I would love to read about Kate and Garrett and possibly about Leah Clearwater, but most of all I want to read about Jacob and Renesmee. I know it is implied in the books that imprinting is cut and dry and that neither party has a choice or wouldn't want a different choice, but I would love to see Renesmee wanting to explore her options more and see Jacob have to work a bit for her love. I would hope that in reading her story we could gain more insight into the relationship of Edward and Bella and the rest of the Cullen family 10 years from now.
I wouldn't want the characters to be placed in the hands of someone other than Stephenie. Her vision is what has made The Twilight Saga so wonderful.

The perils of popularity
I was disheartened to find this article on Popeater today about Robert Pattinson's fear of his fans. According to the article it has become so bad that he has been advised by his security team to not encourage the crowds in anyway. I called this a couple of weeks ago when I mentioned that he would shut down and be inaccessible to his fans. Listen, Crazy Fan Bitches out there! Have a bit of respect, for Robert and for yourselves.
Robert, there are classy fans out there that love and respect you. Like me, who practically devotes all my creative energy to you. Don't lose yourself. I am afraid, with the ever-growing popularity of Twilight, that the worst is yet to come. Keep up the great work and you will find a way to navigate the fame.

Chemistry
With the lack of Twilight news out there and the use of my creative energy on my other writing project, I rely on late night lists scribbled from the side of my bed. Sometimes they are unreadable, scribbled in whatever I have close, eyeliner, lipstick, crayon. You get the picture. Other times I look at my notes and wonder WTF I was thinking. This morning I woke up after spending most of the night reading fanfiction that was rated so XXX that I am too embarrassed to link it here. (Email me if you want the link. It was very descriptive and deliciously naughty.) On the notepad by my bed was a note about kissing. I don't know why I am so obsessed with Edward and Bella/Rob and Kristen kissing. I love a good kiss myself and kissing on the big screen is usually very successful in showing stong emotions.
As soon as I signed on this morning I did my usual Google searches and found an article about the strangeness Rob feels when filming a kissing scene with Kristen. This is his quote.
Pattinson recently talked about kissing Stewart to Twist magazine, "I always get carried away when I'm kissing. I just go nuts! Walking away after it is the strangest moment for me. It's embarrassing - not knowing what to say to each other."
Can you imagine the chemistry it takes to get that flustered!!

Happy 4th of July!!!
OOOOOO!!! AHHHHHHHH! The flashes of light, the boom of explosives, the smell of sulphur. I love fireworks!!! Today I realized a new draw to the gorgeous displays of patriotism... The sparkles. They remind me of Edward. My sparkling love. He was not present except in my heart.
I am sure he was present in the mind of at least one other there. My friend, Shanti, wanted to bring her book, but caved under gentle teasing and eye-rolling and left Twilight in the car. I love Edward so much, I would never have caved.
Hope you all had a Happy, Healthy and Sparkly 4th of July!!!
**Say a prayer for all our service members far away from their families on this day that personifies why they do their jobs and the sacrifice of the families left behind to carry on without them. Love you Aaron and Ryan!!**

Have my prayers been answered?
I received this update from The Awful Truth on my Twitter page. "Breaking Dawn is a go!" or something like that . I was almost too excited to remember what I had read. If you hadn't read or heard, Rob Pattinson confirmed that he was signed on for the 4th movie while he was in Cannes. Now it seems Ashley Greene is also confirming that she is signed on. Today's Google alert notified me ,through an article from The Deadbolt, of the same news. The article also mentioned Stephenie Meyer, the author of the Twilight Saga, has been credited as co-screenwriter next to main scriptwriter Melissa Rosenberg who penned the first three films. That sounds awesome!!! Who better than Ms. Meyer to stay true to the book!!!!!!!!!
As usual I will wait until Summit confirms, but with this much chatter out there I am pretty sure now that Breaking Dawn will happen. My one hope is that is not a 90 minute movie. I think it should be offered as a double feature with an intermission. I would even pay double. I may even pay triple. I would even donate blood for Renesmee. That right there shows my dedication.
