If some one had asked me a week ago which character from Twilight I would want to be, I would have said Bella. Boring, predictable, I know, but the whole being in love with Edward thing did it for me. If I was asked today I would have to change my answer and say Alice. Why, you ask?

I think it's official!
I am not usually one to dwell on things I cannot change, but I am deeply saddened by the change in the casting of Victoria. When I read the first 3 books, it is Rachelle LeFevre's face that I see when I think of Victoria. With these pictures of Bryce Dallas Howard getting on a plane headed to Vancouver.

Fan Made New Moon Video
This gem is a most awesome combination of all the New Moon footage out there. I love the movie trailer and the clips released at Comic Con. It makes the wait a bit more bearable and the anticipation heightened.
Rob looks so great!! Yummy! So does Taylor, but he is too young to be yummy. A couple more years.
I can't wait!! Don't roll your eyes at me! You know you feel the same.
P.S.-- I totally stole the idea for this post, but I hope the goods will grant me forgiveness. Check out Robsessed on my links.

I need this!!! NEED!!
When I met my husband, he had this Toyota Corolla SR-5. A fun sporty little coupe, but he had stickers all over it. They were tasteful and mostly racing type stickers. They irritated me, especially the randomly placed one on the door that covered up a dent. But, here I am salivating over stickers for my car. I already have a Twilight one and I was planning on heading down to Hot Topic to see if I could find a New Moon one. The sticker above would be so perfect!!! Edward Cullen is my happy place.
My mini-van is going to look ridiculous, but worst of all I will have to hear RZ bitching about my stickers. I will have to take though. Lord knows, I bitched about his.

Slightly inappropriate. Just warning you! ;)
I am jealous. One of my friends has convinced her husband to read Twilight. Ooooooh! I want RZ to read it so bad!!!!! I have practically begged him to no avail. Hell, I can't even get my Mom to read it. I have even offered to read it to him and I hate reading out loud. So, I was thinking of all the things I could use in trade to get him to read the books:
Maybe vacuuming. I hate vacuuming almost as much as laundry. Which I could also offer, but I already do that.
Or a combination of both?
I am quite willing to sacrifice most anything to get my husband to read Twilight. Imagine the conversations we could have. Imagine the role-playing possibilities! OOOOHHHH!!!I am sure we can come to some kind of deal.
Think about it. After all, Rob has already read it.

My investments
I just like this picture!!
Yesterday was a bad day for me. I had just finished reading Eclipse, again, I was so excited to see the words Breaking Dawn on the Twilight movie site, and then I find that gorgeous new Edward poster. All I wanted to do was talk about Twilight or Edward. The reason that this was a bad thing is because I stayed with my family all day. Everyone in my house is sick of hearing about my obsession. I swear I even saw the baby roll his eyes. ~big sigh~
It just seemed to pour out of me, like a kid excited for Christmas. I could not stop. I saw a black Mercedes--"Oooh, oooh , that the kind of car Carlisle drives." I saw yellow cars all over the place and expressed my chagrin that there were no yellow Porches, like Alice's. My husband will usually talk about cars, but he refused to take my bait to begin a Twilight conversation. My son asked what kind of car Rob drives. I said I wasn't sure, but that he had said in an interview that he drove an '89 BMW. RZ laughed his ass off at this and said I was crazy, that I am way too invested in Twilight.
That got me thinking. I am an investor. I invest my whole self into many things. I invest my time into my kids. I invest my heart in my husband of 13 years. I invest myself into my family and into friends, that sometimes don't reciprocate. I invest myself into things I believe in, like my volunteer work for P.T.O., my choice of politics, my love of all things Twilight!!!!!
Thank God I am too broke to invest in the stock market.
The Twilight books changed my life. That may sound corny, but I was in a rut and was not doing the best that I could in my life. Stephenie Meyer wrote books that touched my soul and most of all made me happy in way that has allowed me to be happier in all aspects of my life. So, yes, I am way too invested in Twilight, I am not alone. Here is a quote from an interview Robert Pattinson gave:
"I find myself being...I mean, right after the audition I found myself kind of bizarrely invested in the story, and I hadn't even read the books at that point. I got more and more attached to it. I've been talking about the script to Eclipse the last few weeks and I find myself getting very argumentative, which I'm not usually. Yeah, I don't know. They definitely have some kind of power over us."
I think I will no longer call my love an obsession. Maybe I will call it an investment.

What Twilight Character are YOU?
I took this quiz on Facebook. Quizzes take up way to much of my time and they are usually crap. I would never have likened myself to Rosalie, I am more of an Esme or a Bella, but ok. I am the coolest mom ever, ask my 4 year old. I gave her an Edward and Jacob tattoo. See, I am cool.
Rachel took the What Twilight Character are you? quiz and the result is Rosalie Cullen
You are totally hot. people around you are often intimidated by you. You don't spend a lot of time with making friend with people that you think are silly or below you. You spend most your time with your guy. And although people often think you are a brat you know you love fiercely and would be the coolest hottest mom ever.

Still my beating heart!!! This is what Edward should have looked like in the first movie. I have always thought the original poster made him look too menacing. Yummy, but scary. This poster is great and I must have it!!!! I do have a birthday coming up!! hint hint;)

Thank God for no naked evil ones
For some annoying reason, I cannot access my Twitter page today. It is pissing me off!!! I follow Jamie Bower Campbell and he tweeted an apology for misleading anyone into beleiving there was a Volturi nude scene in New Moon. Thank God!!! I was pretty annoyed the other day, which led B2 to call me a lunatic more than once. I didn't even discuss it with RZ, he might have had me committed.
I am way too invested in Twilight. Sometimes I even think I am ridiculous.
post edit: 10:07 p.m. Sunday 8/2/09
Finally got on Twitter. Very annoyed that I can not access it from AOL. Here is a copy of his Tweet. I bet your publicist ripped you a new one, Jamie!! Ha Ha!
JamiebowerApologies for misleading people into thinking that there would be a nude scene in New Moon. Never meant it to offend anyone. Sorry. X3:53 PM Aug 1st from web
