I have been so bad about updating my other blog, Serious Fiction Addiction, so today I thought I would write a post that I could place on both pages.

I have complained before about my mountain of laundry. Nothing has changed

Not mine, but it could end up like that if I don't learn to prioritize.

Lately I have become so engrossed in the world of Fan Fiction. Really engrossed. In between reading and writing my own (at the expense of writing that I could profit from.), I have just enough time to take care of the kids and semi-clean the house up.

I don't want to be the only one with this problem, so I am distributing my crack. My thoughts are in pink. Click on the pictures or titles for links and as ever please tell me what you think or send me some that you love that aren't on my list.

This is a heart-wrenching story. I love The Black Arrow's tortured Edward. The parallel of Twilight, in him wanting something he can't have, is strong in this story. Bella starts as a kind of victim, but is gaining strength and learning what kind of power she has over Edward. My only complaint with this story is that the author takes a long time to update. Her writing is worth the wait though.

This story has it all; angst, laughter, tears and twists and turns that will keep you reading all hours of the night.

Wow! This story is amazing.(I think that a lot.) This is about the Cullen family. A family with close ties to the mafia. It also deals with issues of human slavery. Bella is a slave purchased by Carlisle. That description does not even scratch the surface of what this story is about, but I just don't want to say more. All I can say is read this one fast!! The author updates often and the really good stuff is coming now!! (68 chapters)

The Misapprehension of Bella Swan by hunterhunting

The Misapprehension of Bella Swan Regarding the Inferior Intellect of Hockey Players: Through incessant stalking and persistence, can Edward wear down Bella's resistance and teach her to embrace her inner puck bunny? A ridiculous love story.

This story is a baby, only 4 chapters. Hunterhunting is the great author of Clipped Wings and Inked Armor.(hope you have read this. it is now on Twilighted) Her new story is nothing like CW&IA, it is funny and the characters are hilarious. Bella has a mouth that runs on over greased wheels and Edward is so taken with her. Edward is a hockey player with a large-um-um-(I'll just say it) XXL appendage. This right there is a source of laughter. It is funny, so funny and so hot!! HH updates every Wednesday. I love that little hump-day gem in my mail box.

Edward is a single dad to Lily. During a grocery trip, she is taken by James, who thinks she is his daughter. Bella is at the same store and is taken as well, because he believes she is his wife.

This is a well- written story about Bella Swan, a popular author, who is taken hostage along with a small child by a sadistic James, who thinks they are his wife and child. This story has some scenes of violence, but none that are too graphic or over the top. Isakasses updates weekly.

This is such a cool story. It is a collaboration piece between 6 talented fan fiction authors. Edward is the coroner and a hit-man for hire. His newest job is Bella Newton, who's a**hole husband is a cheater. I am loving this story and can't wait for a new chapter!

He's a young but jaded musician writing lyrics for his band, and she's a naive, frustrated poet looking to break out of her shell; their words collide online. What happens when they meet in high school, unaware of their literary connection?

Ok, Edward and his family have a band with great lyrics, but a missing piece. Bella is a talented singer with stage fright. This completed story is so good and a great one to sit down and read uninterrupted. Their emails are amazing.

I have reviewed this before, but I love it and it is always worth repeating my recommendations. This story is sexy and full of mystery. NWYT's pictures are almost worth a thousand words.
