A Charlie ?

I am so thrilled at everyone who is participating in my little game. It is so great to see the comments!! I love it that some of you just know the answers and some of you take the time to pick up your books or watch the movie to find the answers. I love you all hard!!

The answer to the last question could be found in Midnight Sun. Midnight Sun gave me just enough knowledge of who Edward thinks and why he does things. I was able to use this perspective through all of the books. I hope you have read it. I would love her to complete it, but honestly I really hope for a 5th book or a sequel to The Host.

The answer to the question was Alonzo Calderas Wallace or Lonnie.

Here is another Midnight Sun question.

C Rachel enjoy C Jane

I have enjoy reading many different blogs and I decided today to tell you about one of the non-Twilight related blogs that I read everyday- C Jane Enjoy it.

C Jane is a witty stay at home mom that has a certain "spice" in her life. Her blog was originally started to chronicle her adventures in infertility. She is a wonderful writer and her snarkiness amuses me. I almost always leave her site with a smile or a wet chest.(from having spewed my drink all over myself in hysterical laughter.) She posted an article that I had to share. Go check her out here-

I am not really sure why I am writing this post.

Maybe as written proof I am going both blind and crazy?

Maybe to come to terms with losing some key elements of my existence?

A cry for help?

I don't know. What I do know is this:

I was at a store the day before Valentine's day. It was the type of store where one would shop for family-friendly Valentine gifts like balloons, candy and heart-felt cheese. I had ordered a specialized gift and knew I'd need help in picking it up. When I walked into the store I saw two young teenage girls working the cash registers and a boy of similar age in the back of the store behind an order counter. And the place was packed with patrons all hopped up on helium-filled, heart-shaped latex.

I thought about perhaps asking the boy in the back for assistance, but from my point of view he looked sort of sullen and depressed. I couldn't exactly see his face, but I decided against approaching him when I noticed he was just sitting there squinting at me from behind the counter. Instead, I started to wait in line knowing it would probably prove fruitless because the girls were too busy punching numbers and running credit cards to go check on my waiting order in the recesses of the store.

But after standing in line for a trickle of minutes with a full bladder and two waiting boys in the car, I became impatient. So impatient I thought, Alright, I am going to go ask cheerless crab for help. Which is when an angelic-looking woman in a particularly delightful periwinkle sweater asked me if I needed anything.(Sometimes being pregnant all over works to your advantage, you see.)And I said, "Oh yes. My name is Courtney and I have an order . . ."But before I could finish her eyes enlarged and she blurted out, "Oh right! Yes! Follow me please!" and she headed towards the back of the store.Towards--you know--him. And just as she disappeared behind the order counter with me close behind, I came face-to-face with the creepy employee.

It was a cut-out of Edward Cullen.

I have an Edward cutout and I will say that he can be particularly frightening when he sneaks up on me, from his perch in my living room, where he has stood since September. (I should be used to his presence by now, don't ya think?)

I just had to laugh at how everything in my life can somehow be brought back to Twilight, even a blog from a lady who write about the mundane things in life and makes it sound so fun!!

Thank you for my laugh C Jane. I love your blog!!

Twilight inspired baby names

I again apologize for missing last night's question. The night just slipped away!!

I had been thinking about what to write about tonight when I spoke to my sister-in-law. In fact my inspiration from this comes from all 3 of them.

MrsMe's close friend is pregnant and due any day. She is a Twilight lover as well. Her new daughter will be named Rosalie. I just love it!! When Baby AD was born his girl name was Arabella. This was before I read Twilight or knew anything about it. We were going to call her Bella. Think of all the crap I would be getting if he had been girl!!

So, B2 and QB are both dying to get pregnant. (I am so done with that part of my life.) They both have 2 little girls and are getting ready to send out orders for little boys. We tossed around names tonight and here is what we came up with:

Edward- B2's ex is Edward so that is out for her- QB turned up her nose
Jasper- my cat is Jasper
Emmett- we all like this
Carlisle- none of us are that cruel
Jacob- too popular
Charlie- blah
Sam-no plus B2's sister in law is Sam

I started to ask about girls, but decided not to even put that possibility out there into the universe. We need more little boys in our family.

Personally- I like the name Rob.

Question #11-

If you had a baby would you name the baby after a character in Twilight? What name would you choose?

As I said- Bella would be my girls name and I also like Masen.
And the real question-

How many wolves are there in New Moon and what are their names?

There are 5 wolves in New Moon- Sam, Jacob, Paul, Embry and Jared
Quil had not changed yet.

RL sucks!!

Ahhhh! I was a total fail in posting last night!! I am sorry! There will be 30 questions. I promise!! And tonight I will post a 2-parter!!

See you later!! May this tide you over!!

I love you.

It was so great to get the comments for the question I added today. I was actually a little saddened after I wrote my post. Last night, with friends that mean a lot to me, I was left feeling like my love of Twilight was pathetic. I am quite hurt.

The comments that I received made me smile so hard and I say to my so called friends--f**k off. ( by the way they have not even read the books.)

Twilight makes me happy. Plain and simple. It is my escape from reality. It is my thing.

Question #10 An Eclipse question
Where did Edward buy Bella's engagement ring? and describe what it looks like.

Valentine's day GOODIES and a bonus question!! SPOILER ALERT!!

Happy Valentine's Day to all my fellow Twilight lovers!!!! I heart sharing my love with you everyday!!

At dinner last night with 2 other couples, I was just a tiny bit ambushed and teased mercilessly about my love of all things related to Twilight and my love of Rob Pattinson. I was asked this question:

Why do you love Twilight?

I said the usual things; It makes me happy. It is fun. It enhanced my love life. Rob is so yummy.

But still like a bunch of 4 year olds, They continued to ask why. I wanted to bust out- Just because, leave me the f**k alone!!! but I grasped at straws trying to find the words to explain my love.

(BTW- The more I drink the less coherently I am able to justify my obsession. That sucked.)

If I had been able to show them these pictures, they would have totally understood.
Leg hitch!! Woo Hoo!! (and the gold bedding is accurate!)
Booby grope!!! Ahhh- not so accurate, but so awesome!!!

Is that a ring box in her hand?

Ok- really- not so accurate, but I betcha Bella saves him- Al la third wife!!
134 days to go and David Spade rewards our love with this valentine!! Thanks !!!
Bonus Question worth 3 points!!
Why do you love Twilight?

A Foolish Friday Post

I have been so busy today dealing with real life. Yuck! We have been pretty much stuck in the house for the last 8 days and being with your family is kind of like fish. After a while it just stinks.
I did get a short reprieve this evening with my first book club meeting. I was very nice. I only knew one lady and I think that was better as we were able to focus more on the books and not on the normal gossiping that we would do.

So, I apologize for recycling a post. I have just had too much wine and will probably either babble or get in trouble.

Here is my husband's favorite post. It is so true and right now Baby AD is growing out of his shoes, but won't wear anything else. For those who are new to my blog, enjoy:

My son's life with a Twilight Obsession.

I have an adorable 2 year old son, Baby AD, who, I think, likes Twilight as much as I do. When I wear my t-shirts, he lovingly pats my chest and says "Edward. Bella.". He can spot pictures of Edward anywhere and he points them out excitedly like a normal 2 year old points out a balloon. He has actually sat next to me and watched the entire Twilight movie without being too annoying more than once. I am kind of afraid that I have brainwashed him.

Here is why I think this:

In a genius move that my husband is notorious for we left to go hiking in the Shenandoah National Park, as he grabbed Baby AD to put into the car I mentioned for him to put the baby's shoes on. Stopping for gas, 60 miles from home I notice my son's stocking feet. Knowing the answer before I asked it, my husband admits he forgot the shoes. Luckily a Kmart was found and shoes were purchased. These shoes:

Go Diego Go shoes.

I showed them to my sweet boy and he excitedly yelled-"EDWARD SHOES!!"
He loves his Edward shoes. I have tried to get him to call them Diego shoes to assuage the annoyance my husband feels, but AD insists that they are Edward shoes. I feel it serves RZ right for forgetting the perfectly good black and gray non-Edward shoes at home.
p.s.-Just so you know, AD can say Diego perfectly. He just really likes Edward.
Question #9
How do Bella and Alice get to Volterra?
Answer #9
They fly to Italy and the drive to Volterra in a yellow Porsche

A LOVE post

All I can say is that I had better receive this for Valentine's Day, dear!! If I don't I may kill you!! I have given my husband plenty of subtle and not so subtle hints that I had better get one of these packages delivered to me. I will act surprised and shower him with kisses.

His epic failures of both my birthday and Christmas leave him really no choice, but to just do it. I may not speak to him for at least a day if doesn't comply. (A day is really all I can manage, but I am a genius at making sure he knows that I am pissed without words.)

As an added bonus, visit the new site that Peter Facinelli has sponsored, Twihards4Charity, and find out how you can help Haiti with the purchase of one of the packages above. I love celebrities who lend their fame to good things. Peter is great at this.
So forward this to your significant other and give them a blaring hint at what you expect this Valentine's Day. Maybe you can even convince them to take you to see Taylor Lautner's new movie named after this LOVE-ly holiday. Wouldn't big opening weekend numbers be a great present for our new 18 year old. (I have been forbidden from writing a post about how he is legal and that I can now lust after him openly. I wouldn't do that anyway. 23 is the youngest I will go and truthfully Rob owns me and a Taylor conversion will not be happening.)

Question #8
This is a three part question- 1 point for each correct answer. The most specific answer will get a bonus of 10 points!!!

Why was it necessary for Esme to be turned into a vampire by Carlisle?

What was the cause of her injuries?

And -What was the reason for her decision?
Answer #8

Personal history of Esme Cullen: In 1911, Esme broke her leg falling out of a tree she’d climbed. Her family lived on a farm on the outskirts of Columbus. The local doctor was away, and it was after dark by the time they got her to the small hospital in Columbus. A Dr. Cullen treated her. It was his last month in town. She never got over the experience. (PC1)

Esme was the last of her friends to marry. She was thinking of moving West to be a schoolteacher, but her father didn’t think it was respectable for a lady to live alone in the wilds. The son of a family friend, a man with good prospects, wanted to marry her, and her father pressured her to accept. She was indifferent towards Charles Evenson, but not opposed to him. She married him in 1917 at the age of 22, and quickly found that this had been a bad decision. Charles’s public face was very different from his private face; he abused her. Her parents counseled her to be a good wife and keep quiet. When he was drafted to fight in WW1, it was a huge relief to her. When he came back in 1919, it was terrifying. (PC1)

Shortly after his return, Esme discovered she was pregnant. The pregnancy was Esme’s catalyst to escape. She couldn’t let a child be brought into that home. She ran away in 1920 to live with a second cousin in Milwaukee, and then moved further north when word of her whereabouts leaked to her parents. She blended in easily, pretending to be one of the many war widows. She taught school in a small community outside Ashland. When her baby died in 1921 from a lung infection just a few days after he was born, she had nothing left. She had no idea that Carlisle was working in the little hospital in Ashland when she jumped off the cliff outside the town. Carlisle remembered her, of course, as the happy girl she had been at sixteen. He didn’t want her to die and so he saved her. (PC1)

When she opened her eyes, in all that pain, and saw the face that she’d never forgotten in a decade, she was relieved. She was not really that upset to find out she was a vampire, but she didn’t take it as in stride as Emmett had. Still, she was happy to be with the man/vampire of her dreams and they were soon married.
